Our Favorite Makeup Cleansers While Traveling — Asian Women Verified

Most recently, I asked the Asian Wander Women Travel community on their favorite makeup cleansers while traveling. Because of similar skin tones, we tend to seek similar price and value, I felt like most of these would be a hit.

Pei said, “I like the Tatcha powder cleanser when on the road. The less chance of liquids leaking the better.

And if anyone's ever in Turkiye, some pharmacies have a rose dust face wash powder. The brand is gülsha and it comes in a little pink cylinder. The saleswoman told me she's visited the factory and the entire building smells like fresh roses.”

Skye shared, “Then I Met You is my fav - I like it better than Banila Co.”

Xenia stated, “I like micellar water after my oil cleanser!! or in a situation like on a plane. I love Simple for micellar water.”

“When I’m not traveling, I love my Clinique Take the Day Off cleansing balm (really good at removing waterproof mascara). If I’m traveling, I’ll carry around the Kiss Me Heroine Makeup Speedy Mascara Remover (removes the most stubborn waterproof mascara) and any brand of makeup wipe (usually neutrogena). All can be found on Amazon,” says Claudia.

“Body Shop Chamomile Sumptuous Makeup Cleansing Butter or Vecs Gardenia which is a local Taiwan comparable that smells so so good and works like an absolute DREAM - 1 tsp will get rid of a full beat.” - Darice

“This is a oil based cleanser and moisturizer in one! It's the best when traveling! It's vegan and smells divine

Living Libations - Organic Best Skin Ever All-In-One Facial Cleanser, Exfoliator + Moisturizer | Natural, Wildcrafted, Vegan Clean Beauty (Seabuckthorn, 1.69 oz | 50 ml) https://a.co/d/2ciRl9s.” - Mary

“I always use Biore cleansing makeup wipes. It's compact and easy to bring around. I personally am pretty lazy and prefer to not bring liquids. The lesser the liquids, the better.” - Joanna

Bifesta eye makeup remover which is gentle and works wonders.” - Cherr

“Cetaphil gentle cleanser (it can wash without water - ya I didn't know this until I worked at Cetaphil lol) and Cetaphil wipes!” - Anna

“Not 100% sure if it works for makeup but the best way i have removed my waterproof sunscreen is using Acure seriously soothing cleanser. https://www.iherb.com/pal/referral/pdp/any...” - Bonnie

“Clean it zero has always been a go-to, OG product for me. My only complaint is that the product is less than what you see outside, but besides that, it’s great for my skin and makes me feel squeaky clean after. I wear sunscreen and sometimes coverage; I do have larger pores so I want makeup remover that gets all the grit and dirt out.” - Emily
